Akihiro Asano 於 1994 年 4 月加入三菱商事株式會社的開發建設部門，並借調至三菱商事株式會社 -UBS Realty Inc.2004年1月調任Kenedix, Inc.不動產投資諮詢部。2009 年 1 月，他被任命為三井物產物流合夥有限公司的外部董事。.
在 Kenedix, Inc.擔任執行長、策略投資第一組總經理後，於 2014 年 9 月擔任 Kenedix Real Estate Fund Management, Inc.董事兼營運長、零售房地產投資信託部門總經理。2014 年 10 月，他又被任命為 Kenedix Retail REIT Corporation 的執行董事。.
2020 年起調任 Kenedix, Inc.財務會計部，並於 2020 年 3 月被任命為董事、財務會計部主管（負責一般行政及人力資源部）。自 2021 年 3 月起，擔任 Kenedix, Inc. 資深執行長 CFO、財務會計部主管（負責總務管理與人力資源部），為期三年。.
2024 年 3 月，他被任命為 Kenedix 房地產基金管理公司總裁兼執行長，目前擔任此職。.
Ritwik has been associated with the REIT since its listing and was a founding member of the team that helped list Embassy REIT in 2019. He last held the position of Chief Investment Officer at Embassy REIT.
Prior to joining Embassy REIT, Ritwik spent over 12 years as an investment banker at global firms, including Nomura, Citi, UBS, and JPMorgan. As an investment banker, Ritwik has worked on numerous REIT and real estate capital markets and advisory transactions in New York and Singapore.
Ritwik holds a BA on Economics from Middlebury College, an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
