Renowned for his entrepreneurial prowess in building businesses from the ground up, Mr. Malkani's leadership has propelled ESR to become a leading entity in industrial and logistics real estate. Under his guidance, ESR has cultivated a robust portfolio, featuring 22 operational sites across 10 cities in India's high-performing markets.
Mr. Malkani was a senior member of Indiaproperties.com, one of the world's first online portals for property sales, achieving remarkable success in both scale and excellence. His entrepreneurial journey includes the successful establishment of five companies during their challenging and high-growth phases, notably including the Indian operations of Prologis, the global leader in logistics real estate.
In his previous stint, Mr. Malkani was the Managing Director and a founding team member at IndoSpace. His leadership was instrumental in transforming IndoSpace into the nation's foremost industrial and logistics real estate developer, with the development of over 31 parks within a decade.
In his present role as the CEO of ESR India, Mr. Malkani is instrumental in devising and executing the overarching business and growth strategy for the company's Indian operations. Additionally, he leads all key business verticals, including investments, development, leasing, and fund management.

Abhilash is an Executive Director at IndoSpace and heads the Asset Management function. IndoSpace is India’s largest investor, developer, and manager of industrial and logistics real estate with a total portfolio size of over 58 million square feet across 52 projects in 11 cities.
In his current role at IndoSpace, Abhilash oversees performance of three development funds and a Core vehicle with total investments of over USD 3Bn and is responsible for driving portfolio strategy, operations, property valuations, monitoring and optimizing asset performance. Abhilash has wide ranging experience of over 16 years in the real estate industry involving fund raising, investments, asset management, driving buy side and sell side due diligence and managing investor relations.
Prior to joining IndoSpace, Abhilash was associated with JP Morgan Chase, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services and Citi Markets. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelors in Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
