Frances joined OCBC Global Markets in January 2021, responsible for interest rates research. She has over 20 years of experience as an economist, rates and FX strategist. Prior to OCBC, she was Head of Asia Macro Strategy with Westpac, Head of Rates Strategy Asia ex-Japan with Societe Generale, and Head of Asian Rates Strategy with Credit Agricole.

Frances was named as No.1 of Best for Overall Interest Rate Research Analyst in Asiamoney Fixed Income Poll 2012, 2013 and 2014; No.1 as Best Local Currency Analyst in FinanceAsia Fixed Income Research Poll 2012 and 2013; No.3 of Best for Overall FX Research Analyst in Asiamoney FX Poll 2012 and 2014; and No.1 as Best Analyst in FinanceAsia Fixed Income Research Poll 2011.

She received her Master of Philosophy (Economics) and Bachelor of Social Science (Economics) degrees from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is also a CFA charterholder and a CESGA holder.

Joel Teo is a Partner in the Corporate Department of Lee & Lee LLP.

He is a Singapore-based corporate and private wealth lawyer whose practice focuses on advising principals, families, and family offices on the long-term structuring and preservation of real estate-backed wealth. He works closely with real estate investors and developers on ownership structuring, succession and governance planning, and the integration of property assets into broader family office and legacy frameworks. Joel regularly advises on Singapore-based holding structures, trusts, and cross-border arrangements involving investment real estate, with an emphasis on balancing control, risk management, and inter-generational continuity.  He has experience advising single family offices, multi family offices and large global real estate investors in their global acquisitions.

Outside of work, Joel sits on the board of directors of the Singapore Chinese High School, which, inter alia, is involved with the running of Hwa Chong Institution and Hwa Chong International School. He is also the Chairman of the Entrepreneurship and Finance Sub-club under the Hwa Chong Alumni Association. He is also a member of the Equity Capital Markets and the Tax and Trust Sub-Committees of the Law Society of Singapore and a member of the Society for Trusts and Estate Practitioners (Singapore Branch). 

Joel graduated with an LLB (Hons) degree from the National University of Singapore in 2005 and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2006. He joined Lee & Lee in 2006. He also holds two masters degrees: LLM (Merit) (specialisation in Corporate/Commercial Law) from the University of London (Queen Mary) in 2009, and MBA (specialisation in Finance) from the National University of Singapore in 2013, for which he won the Inchcape Berhard Book Prize for Corporate Strategy. He was also conferred the STEP Excellence Awards 2023 for achieving the highest pass with distinction in the STEP Advanced Certificate in Trusts Law & Practice in the 2023 academic year.
