He has also served as PM Scott Morrison’s Special Envoy for Global Business and Talent Attraction.

In September this year,  Peter helped launch the Global REIT Alliance, a new international body comprising REIT advocates from 24 countries and regions.

In 2019, Peter was inducted as an Officer of the Order of Australia for services to the property investment industry.

Ben Hickey, Director and Head of Australasia for BlackRock APAC Real Estate, leads the Australian and New Zealand Real Estate business, overseeing investment activities in the region. Mr. Hickey is responsible for leading the origination, evaluation, execution and delivery of the local investments along with management of the local country team. He is also a Challenger member of the Global Value Add Investment Committee. Ben's service for the firm dates back to 2015. During his tenure with the company he has been responsible for a wide range of real estate related functions including acquisitions, asset management and dispositions.​ Previously Mr. Hickey worked within Capital Transactions and Business Development for Stockland.​ Mr. Hickey holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Property from Bond University.

Yian Wang is the Chief Investment Officer for AEW Asia Pacific, responsible for overseeing all of AEW’s commingled and direct investments in the Asia Pacific. Ms. Wang plays an integral part within the firm’s Senior Leadership Team, actively contributing to AEW’s overall strategic vision and direction. She is also a member of the AEW Asia Pacific Investment and Risk Management Committees. Based in Hong Kong, she has extensive portfolio and asset management experience across the different Asian markets in which AEW invests. Ms. Wang has worked in both Mainland China and Hong Kong with prior investment management roles including Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing and Hongkong Land, a subsidiary of Jardine Matheson Group. She graduated with First Class Honors from the University of Cambridge and has an M.A., M. Eng and B.A. in Chemical Engineering and was a recipient of the prestigious Jardine Scholarship.

Chris has 10 years of experience in energy, corporate finance advisory and investing. Prior to HMC, Chris was at QIC Global Infrastructure, where he was responsible for the asset management of Tilt Renewables, one of Australia's largest renewable energy businesses, origination across the energy, utilities and digital sectors.

Before this, Chris was in J.P. Morgan's Investment Banking Division, covering Energy & Utilities clients. Chris holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of Sydney.

Sam Lee Mohan is a seasoned executive at S&P Global, with over 25 years of leadership expertise across the energy value chain. In his role, he collaborates with clients to navigate the complex interplay between traditional energy security and the accelerating energy transition. Utilising S&P Global's advanced market intelligence alongside his extensive C-suite experience, Sam helps organisations interpret policy shifts, evaluate competitive positioning & market trends, and manage carbon-related risks. His previous roles as MD & CEO of Frontier Energy and Global Head of Hydrogen at Xodus Group (Subsea7) provide him with a unique operator's perspective on financing, building, and scaling energy projects. Sam was pivotal in launching Australia’s first green hydrogen microgrid at ATCO, enhancing his understanding of the commercial realities of innovation. Holding an MSc in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, he is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, delivering actionable insights to de-risk operations and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the energy sector.

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Ms Ingram joined JLL’s Asia Pacific capital markets team based out of Hong Kong in 2013 and has since worked in numerous locations including Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo and Europe. She joined the European Capital Markets team in 2017 out of London, with a focus on both the Office and Life Sciences sector across Europe. During this time, she worked on a number of notable European portfolio transactions including the acquisition of Kadans Science Partners Life Sciences portfolio on behalf of AXA from Oaktree.

In January 2022, she took on the new role as Head of Sustainability for European capital markets in 2022 whereby she is sector agnostic and focused on helping clients integrate ESG into investment processes to maximise value and liquidity.

She recently moved back to the APAC region basing herself out of Australia to expand her European role and drive sustainability across the APAC Capital Markets team and work alongside JLL’s new Energy & Infrastructure business focusing on early-stage development opportunities in Australia.

Hannah has been involved in M&A, capital markets, and real estate private equity investing throughout her career. She currently manages Wentworth’s capital strategy across Wentworth’s real estate private equity portfolio, with capital based both in Australia and offshore. Prior to her role at Wentworth, Hannah gained experience working in the M&A and deal teams at Cromwell Property Group, KPMG, and McGrathNicol, with varied transaction experience specialising in real estate. She is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales.

Suzannah Morrison is the Head of Corporate Development at Iglu Student Accommodation, joining in July 2024 to assist in developing and refining the business’ overall strategic direction. She is responsible for the identification, evaluation and implementation of potential opportunities to grow the Iglu platform, including entering new sectors and leading negotiation and execution of capital raising, corporate restructuring and mergers and acquisitions. She has over 14 years of real estate transaction and funds management experience, including most recently at Aware Super within the property team with responsibility across origination, execution and portfolio management. Suzannah holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) at the University of Queensland and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Viji Yogavaran currently manages Australian Unity’s Healthcare Property Trust, with an AUM of $3.3 billion. She brings over 20 years of real estate funds management experience to the role, spanning asset management, capital transactions, treasury, finance and corporate governance.

Prior to Australian Unity, Viji was the Fund Manager at Centuria Healthcare, where she managed a portfolio of healthcare property funds.

She has also held senior roles at Investa Property Group, having worked in an ASX-listed office fund, an institutional mandate and Investa’s balance sheet portfolio.

A capital markets specialist with 15 years of diverse experience across real estate sectors in the United Kingdom and Australia. Currently leading superfund capital for JLL's global capital team. Previously, specialised in ESG investment, collaborating across all sectors to develop and implement targeted strategies driving ESG and value-add investment opportunities. Prior to this role, Caitlin held a position within JLL UK Capital Markets, focusing on strategic transactions. For the first eight years of her career, Caitlin was a certified valuer in both Australia and the UK, holding MRICS and CPV qualifications.

Stephen Wu is an economist at UBS covering Australia and New Zealand. Stephen joined UBS in July 2025 after four years as an Australian economist at CBA. Prior to that, Stephen worked as an economist at the RBA for over three years. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics 1st Class Honours, Finance) and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Sydney.

Georgina Bishop is a Senior Portfolio Manager at VFMC (Victorian Funds Management Corporation). With over 17 years of experience in the property industry, Georgina has worked across various areas, including Fund and Mandate Management, Investment and Asset Management, Development and Asset Stabilisation, Transactions, Joint Venture Management, Valuations, and Valuation Management.

In VFMC's Property team, Georgina oversees the curation and management of a real estate portfolio that delivers long-term returns for over 32 Victorian public authorities and related organisations. Before joining VFMC in 2023, Georgina was the Fund Manager for ISPT CIP Fund and the Mandate Manager for an ISPT Client Mandate.

Georgina holds a Bachelor of Property (Valuations) and is a Certified Practising Valuer (Australian Property Institute).

Nadeem Hussain is Senior Portfolio Manager - Mid Risk Portfolio Strategy and Research, within the AustralianSuper Investment team, a role he commenced in 2023. Prior to this, he was Senior Portfolio Manager for AustralianSuper’s global property portfolio, responsible for designing the property strategy and its ongoing portfolio management. His role in the team spanned the strategic development and implementation of both the direct and unlisted strategies of the fund’s property investments, and continuing portfolio management initiatives to cater for the changing nature and size of the property portfolio. Prior to joining AustralianSuper in 2013, Nadeem spent nine years at BlackRock Investment Management within their property team. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Master in Accounting, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia.
