Singapore – 29 June 2021. The Asia Pacific Real Assets Association (APREA) is pleased to announce that Mr. Teo Wee Hwee has been appointed as a Director and Treasurer of the Company with effect from 29番目 June 2021 during the Annual General Meeting held virtually today. Following the appointment of Mr. Teo, the APREA Board will comprise 13 directors.
Based in Singapore, Mr Teo is currently a Partner with KPMG where he heads up the real estate and asset management tax practice. Specialising in fund formation, he has extensive experience in helping clients structure their funds in various domiciles such as Singapore, the Cayman Islands and Luxembourg across various asset classes ranging from real assets such as real estate, infrastructure, renewables, to venture capital, private equity, debt and even cryptocurrency. In addition, he has extensive experience in helping clients to structure their real estate investments in a tax efficient manner across various asset classes ranging from hotels, office, retail mall, residential, data centers, healthcare properties to student housing. Apart from Singapore, he has extensive experience in advising acquisitions in Australia, India, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, US, New Zealand, Indonesia, UK, Germany, etc.
His clients comprise mainly asset managers, developers, family office / ultra-high net worth, infrastructure fund, sovereign wealth funds, insurance funds, listed REITs and business trusts.
