Sigrid is the Chief Executive Officer of Asia Pacific Real Assets Association (APREA). Based in Singapore, she is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, initiatives and operations of the association across Asia Pacific. Under her leadership, APREA repositioned to an industry trade group focusing on real estate and infrastructure.

Sigrid joined APREA’s executive team in January 2019.

Prior to APREA, she served as Managing Director of Asia Pacific Research and Advisory Services of Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) from 2010 through 2018, where she was responsible for research, thought leadership, strategy formulation and client management.  Before relocating to Singapore, she was based in Washington, D.C. and led C&W’s U.S. research group in the Mid-Atlantic region, overseeing all aspects of market research activities in the Washington, DC; Virginia; Suburban Maryland, Baltimore; and Philadelphia areas. Prior to joining C&W, Sigrid served as a Senior Economist for the National Association of Realtors (NAR). In that position, she developed NAR’s office, warehouse, retail, multi-family housing, and international research programs.

A recognized expert in global economic, public policy and real estate issues, Sigrid is a frequent speaker at industry events.  Her commentary on commercial and residential real estate markets is also regularly featured in a wide array of global publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Bloomberg, New York Times and Reuters. Additionally, she has made several television appearances on financial networks and radio such as CNBC, Bloomberg, CNN, National Public Radio and Channel News Asia.

Sigrid holds a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management and a Master’s degree in Economics from Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of several civic groups including the Rotary Club of Raffles City in Singapore, where she has served in various leadership positions, and serves in the Executive Committee of the Crohn’s & Colitis Society of Singapore.

Chen has overall responsibility for international business group and cross-border investment activities in COS-Capital. Since co-founding COS Capital, he has led the group in deploying nearly USD 400mn equity capital into US real estate, ranging from core-plus to value-add to opportunistic projects. From 2007 to 2013, Mr. Chen was Managing Director & Head of Global Real Estate (GRE) - Greater China at UBS Global Asset Management. He was responsible for managing and developing the GRE business as well as the strategic initiatives in the region. He was a member of the Asia Pacific Management Committee of UBS Global Asset Management. He spearheaded the establishment of the UBS/Gemdale JV. While serving as Co-CEO for the JV, he successfully led the launch of its first China Real Estate Fund and served as the principal manager for the fund. Joining UBS in 2003 as the Global Head of Research & Strategy, Mr. Chen was responsible for developing investment strategies and conducting portfolio analysis, as well as providing economic, capital market and real estate market analysis in both private and public markets. He served on various global, regional and country investment committees and boards. Further back, Mr. Chen was Principal - Investment Strategies Group at Lend Lease Real Estate Investments for three years. Earlier, he held various investment positions at Boston Financial, SSR Realty Advisors and MetLife Realty Group. He sits on the Board of Asia Pacific Real Estate Association and the Advisory Board of the Global Chinese Real Estate Congress. He was a board member of American Real Estate Society from 2004 to 2009 and a member of the Advisory Board of Real Estate Research Institute from 2003 to 2008. And in 2004-2009, he was a member of the Editorial Boards for Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management and Journal of Real Estate Literature. Having worked in China, the U.S., Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia, Mr. Chen has vast and diverse experiences in real estate investment and financing, REITs, PERE fund management and asset management, real estate development, planning & design, and international business operations.

Mr. Chen is the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of F.O.G. Capital & Asset Management Corp. (Fields of Gold Corp. - a real estate focused investment & asset management firm headquartered in Shanghai, China, and a Harvard China Fund partner for over 10 years) and the independent director of Yuexiu REITs (the World's first publicly listed REITs in Hong Kong in 2005 investing mainly in mainland properties). He also has been serving as the Development Head of China for a Top-10 Globally ranked real estate investment fund and as senior executive of one of the largest listed blue-chip real estate development groups in Hong Kong. He has also worked as senior architect in an international architectural firm in Boston, MA. USA.

Mr. Chen is a visiting professor at one of the top business schools in China- Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB). He was also a mentor for China Ren Min University’s MBA program. He teaches Real Estate and Capital Market related courses in Tsinghua University, Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Tongji University. While living in the US, Mr. Chen was a Guest Lecturer at the BAC (Boston Architecture Center), where he taught architectural design and planning studios.

Covid-19 has threatened the survival of the market. However, despite the prevailing uncertainties, next year the economic policies, market as a whole and of course investors will become more stable and adaptive. Overall, 2021 will be a year of recovery and advancement. China will continue to play a pivotal role in pushing the global economy forward. With technology gradually taking precedence in China and overseas, the seamless connection between online and offline will enable the real estate industry to blossom. Seeing that real estate is a derived demand, improvements in consumer affordability will trigger a domino-effect on the property industry which helps to accelerate the recovery. The liberalization of household registration restrictions and the integration of core metropolitan areas in Fourteenth Five-Year Plan from the Chinese government will promote breakthroughs in business model innovation and expansion in the future. Resulting in a competitive business environment that is far more interesting and aggressive.

Mr. Chen is currently the Director & President of Everbright Jiabao, and the Chairman & CEO of EBA (Beijing) Investment Management Ltd, a holding subsidiary of the company. Mr. Chen used to work at Beijing Institute of Architectural Design, Barker Pacific Group. Inc (Los Angeles), Lehman Brothers’ subsidiary asset management company and Tishman China Fund.

Mr Chen has over 20 years of experience in real estate investment and asset management as well as the capital market. He is proficient in both Chinese and English. Mr. Chen holds a master degree in real estate development from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor degree in architecture from Tsinghua University.

Hank Hsu is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Forest Logistics Properties.  Formerly the Head of China Investments at Ascendas-Singbridge, an industrial and logistics real estate investment platform under Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, Temasek Holdings, Hank has close to 20 years of experience in real estate investment and fund management. Prior to Ascendas-Singbridge, he served as Investment Director at China Orient Summit Capital (China) and Portman Group (US). He has completed and managed investment transactions totalling nearly USD 6.5 billion in logistics, industrial and mixed-use properties in China and the US. He holds an MBA degree from University of California, Berkeley, and a MDes (Real Estate) from Harvard University.

黄良杰自 2022 年 2 月起担任吉宝中国房地产业务总裁 他带领吉宝中国房地产业务在吉宝“2030 愿景”的指引 ,紧随中国地产行业商业逻辑变化,推动包括可持续城市更新、智慧楼宇、智慧城市、生态零售和养老等业务新举措的发展,利用科技满足不断变化的城市空间需求,为中国可持续城镇化提供新的解决方案。

黄良杰 2006 年 6 月加入吉宝,首先担任高级投资主管。2009 年 10 月,他被派往中国上海担任业务发展经理。在中国工作的十多年里,黄良杰在吉宝中国担任过不同领导职务。2016 年,黄良杰被任命为业务发展部负责人。

在他的领导下,吉宝中国房地产业务发展团队积极实现业务转型,投资北京、上海、天津、成都、无锡、南京和广州的新项目,取得了强劲的财务业绩,持续推动吉宝向“2030 愿景”迈进。

With over 30 years of real estate experience, Mr. Cheng’s work experience has covered a comprehensive range of activities, including ground up real estate development, real estate investment, fund management, business consulting, commercial banking operations, liquidity, and interest rate risk management. As one of the key founding members of KaiLong in 2004, Mr. Cheng has built and led the team to become a leading player in Asian Pacific, Greater China and London‘s vibrant investment and asset management market. To date, KaiLong has invested a total of over US$3.5 billion in 52 real estate projects. Of these, 30 have already been exited with excellent risk adjusted returns .

Before joining KaiLong, Mr. Cheng was the General Manager of Shui On Land. He oversaw the development and operations of Rainbow City, City Apartment, and Hangzhou Xi Hu Tiandi , as well as participating in the construction and operations management of Shanghai Xintiandi. Prior to that, Mr. Cheng held various senior positions with Standard Chartered Bank, including Greater China Head of Finance and Risk and Senior Manager of Marketing and Operations.

An Chen co-heads the AEW Asia Pacific Real Estate Securities Team and serves as Portfolio Manager with responsibility for the construction of the Asia Pacific component of AEW’s global property securities portfolios. She also serves as a member of the Global Securities Allocation Committee (GSAC) which assesses global allocation adjustments of the global property securities portfolios. She joined AEW in 2010 and is based in AEW’s Singapore office. An’s industry experience dates back to 2006 and includes roles at Prudential Asset Management in both Singapore and Hong Kong, where she served as a portfolio manager and equity analyst for Asia Pacific ex Japan Real Estate and an equity analyst for the utilities sector. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from King’s College in London and is a CFA® charter holder. Ms. Chen is fluent in Mandarin.

Damon Wang is Head of Asia-Pacific, Public Real Estate Securities at Heitman. He helps the global real estate securities team to cover both listed REITs and REOCs in the region, including Japan, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong markets.

Before Heitman, Damon worked for LaSalle Investment Management Securities in Hong Kong for about seven years, covering key Asian markets, including Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore.

He graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and is a holder of CFA and FRM.

Ms. Kong is the Managing Director and CIO of SCGC Realty Capital, and is a member of SCGC’s infrastructure REITs investment committee. Prior to joining SCGC, Ms. Kong worked at CITIC Securities focusing on REITs, ABS and Private Equity Real Estate.

Ms. Kong has rich practical experience in real estate fund and REITs. She has successively designed and launched the first three private REITs products in China’s capital market. As an external expert of the regulatory departments, Ms. Kong was deeply involved in the policy research process of China’s infrastructure REITs. Also, she successfully led the issuance of Yantian Port REIT, one of the first batch of 9 infrastructure public offering REITs.

Ms. Kong holds dual master’s degrees in Finance and Management from Peking University.

Dr. Terence Ho Wah Chan (陈浩华博士 简介)

Dr. Chan has had close to 30 years of experience in real estate investment and finance, listed companies’ mergers and acquisitions in the regional capital market. He has participated in over 20 trophy mix-used complexes in landmark metropolis in Asia. Dr. Chan has successfully raised billions of dollars from blue chip capital such as Singapore's GIC, closing deals in the areas of private and public equity investment, corporate restructuring and asset injection, distress debt investment, bond issuance and IPO spin-off exercises. Dr. Chan is also an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Real Estate and Construction at the University of Hong Kong with majors in securitization, technology application and sustainable development.

Dr. Chan concurrently runs a family office - Asia Impact Investment Corporation (“AIIC”), which is sponsored by high-net-worth individuals to invest in sustainable real estate projects in China and North America as well as private equity in the segment of construction and property and financial service, particularly in the areas of digitization and green and smart solution. AIIC successfully co-invested with sovereign funds, listed companies and financial institutions in projects and corporations at an aggregate amount of over USD1.5 billion.  

Dr. Chan holds a PhD in Economics and MSc in Real Estate, and also holds a fellow professional membership in CPA Australia (FCPA) and Royal Institute of Charted Surveyors (FRICS). He also holds the Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) and the fellowship of Certificate in Finance and Technology. Dr. Chan is deeply involved in industry development and social services and is the committee chair of ESG and Sustainable Investment Committee of Hong Kong Independent Non-Executive Director Association (HKINEDA), a member of REIT Committee of Securities and Financial Commission (SFC), a member of Mainland Opportunity Committee of Financial Service Development Council (FSDC) and a member of Hong Kong Baptist University Council and Foundation. Dr. Chan has also made a remarkable contribution to the economics and technology partnership between Hong Kong and Shanghai through his deputy president role in the Hong Kong-Shanghai Economic Development Association as well as his membership in the Economic chapter of CPPCC Shanghai Municipal Committee.

Zheyuan Jin is a partner at Merits & Tree. Prior to joining Merits & Tree, Mr. Jin worked in DS Avocats Paris and Shanghai City Development Law Firm.

Mr. Jin has extensive experience in the development, construction, investment and financing of projects. Mr. Jin has served many giant contractors and investors and participated in legal consultations for dozens of projects or housing, manufacturing plants and infrastructures, handling dispute resolution and risk prevention during the whole process of projects development. Mr. Jin represents the project owners including local governments, real estate developers, manufacturing enterprises and projects financier to provides litigation and non-litigation legal services for construction projects. Mr. Jin assists many well-known real estate developers in various stages of projects such as greenfield development, co-enterprise and joint venture, financing, sales, mergers and acquisitions and project exit.

Mr. Jin was a member of the consulting experts in the field of construction and engineering in the World Bank's "Doing Business" report from 2018 to 2020; he has also participated in the drafting of the "General Contracting Contract Model Text for Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development" and the review of the 2020 revision of the Construction Law.
