She is a seasoned legal professional with over 15 years of experience specializing in Private Equity, M&A transactions, and General Corporate advisory. She has represented several leading corporate houses, promoters, private equity funds, banks, and financial institutions across diverse sectors including financial services, e-commerce, consumer goods, retail, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, auto industry, and infrastructure. Previously, Aditi has seconded as in-house legal consultant at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR) India.

Bringing over 18 years of experience in real estate financing, I specialize in origination, complex structuring, and asset management. I currently head the Real Estate Financing Group for India at SMBC, where I lead strategy, client coverage, and execution across real estate lending and structured finance transactions spanning all major asset classes.

Before joining SMBC, I spent more than a decade at Standard Chartered Bank as Director for Commercial Real Estate. Over the years, I have originated and executed structured real estate transactions aggregating over USD 3 billion, including acquisition financing, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and capital-optimized structures across commercial, residential, retail, hospitality, data centres and warehousing assets.

I am a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and Chartered Accountant (CA), combining strong analytical rigor with hands-on dealmaking expertise to drive value, manage risk effectively, and support sustainable business growth.

2015年からインド進出を開始し、インドにおける住宅開発プロジェクトを主な投資対象とするファンド『玄海インドインベストメント』を2019年に組成。当ファンドは本年9月より、ムンバイの分譲マンション開発（住宅の総床面積：約17,500m2）に投資を開始している。玄海キャピタル設立前は、2004年から株式会社福岡リアルティにて代表取締役社長を務め、福岡リート投資法人を組成し上場を果たす。1999年から2004年にはリーマンブラザーズにおいて同社の自己勘定不良債権及び不動産投資のリーシングを統括。それ以前は12年間三井不動産に在籍し、米国における約10億USDのポートフォリオ収益不動産のファイナンスの経験もある。

As founder/CEO of Genkai Capital Management (GCM), a real estate investment management firm with AUM of 40B yen, Matsuo established a Japanese fund focused on development projects in India. The fund has just started investing in a multi-family project with 189K sqf. Prior to founding GCM in 2006, he originated and completed the IPO of Fukuoka REIT Corporation (J- REIT), as president of Fukuoka Realty Co., Ltd. He also has 5-year experience in the Global Real Estate Group of Lehman Brothers in Japan, and 12-year experience at Mitsui Fudosan, during which he managed about 100B yen in assets in US.
