Sigrid is the Chief Executive Officer of Asia Pacific Real Assets Association (APREA). Based in Singapore, she is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, initiatives and operations of the association across Asia Pacific. Under her leadership, APREA repositioned to an industry trade group focusing on real estate and infrastructure.
Sigrid joined APREA’s executive team in January 2019.
Prior to APREA, she served as Managing Director of Asia Pacific Research and Advisory Services of Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) from 2010 through 2018, where she was responsible for research, thought leadership, strategy formulation and client management. Before relocating to Singapore, she was based in Washington, D.C. and led C&W’s U.S. research group in the Mid-Atlantic region, overseeing all aspects of market research activities in the Washington, DC; Virginia; Suburban Maryland, Baltimore; and Philadelphia areas. Prior to joining C&W, Sigrid served as a Senior Economist for the National Association of Realtors (NAR). In that position, she developed NAR’s office, warehouse, retail, multi-family housing, and international research programs.
A recognized expert in global economic, public policy and real estate issues, Sigrid is a frequent speaker at industry events. Her commentary on commercial and residential real estate markets is also regularly featured in a wide array of global publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Bloomberg, New York Times and Reuters. Additionally, she has made several television appearances on financial networks and radio such as CNBC, Bloomberg, CNN, National Public Radio and Channel News Asia.
Sigrid holds a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management and a Master’s degree in Economics from Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of several civic groups including the Rotary Club of Raffles City in Singapore, where she has served in various leadership positions, and serves in the Executive Committee of the Crohn’s & Colitis Society of Singapore.

In 2015, Jonathan jointly founded Taronga Ventures, Asia’s leading technology and innovation investor focused on the real estate sector and the wider built environment. His vision is to bridge the gap between real estate institutions and corporates and the emerging technology companies that are now targeting the real estate sector. Through Taronga Ventures, Jonathan’s focus is on real estate technology (RealTech) investments that drive real and measurable impact across ESG, including carbon reduction, renewable energy, sustainability, and health & safety.
Prior to Taronga Ventures, Jonathan has also held executive roles at Mirvac, as a Director at AREIM in Sweden and as the Portfolio Manager Asia for the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) during a period when ADIA completed more than 40 transactions across Asia. In other roles, Jonathan has lived and worked in China, the Philippines and Singapore with Savills, and was also the Managing Director South East Asia based in Singapore for ING Real Estate.
Jonathan attended the INSEAD AMP course in Singapore & Abu Dhabi in 2015-2016. He holds an MBA from the University of South Australia, a Bachelor of Planning & Design and a Bachelor of Town & Regional Planning from the University of Melbourne. He also completed postgraduate studies at Tsinghua University and is fluent in Mandarin and Swedish.

Chan Lai Kiu
Dr. Chan is an architect, designer, technology startup founder and artist who bridges the gap between “bricks” and “clicks”. In 2008 to 2014, she was the Director, Design and Project of Hysan Development Co. Ltd, for which she completed Hysan Place and revamped Hysan’s portfolio in Causeway Bay. After leaving Hysan, she co-founded the architectural practice, AMQ which is building the 130m-span Skybridge in HK International Airport, and the multi-disciplinary design firm, arQstudio which integrates technology and multimedia into architecture, interior and products to provide a total experience design solution. She is also qualified by CIC as a BIM Manager in 2019. Before joining Hysan, she was the Design Director of P&T Architects and Engineers, who won numerous local and international design awards for her projects. In 1993, she was the recipient of Hong Kong Young Architect Award.
In 2015, she won Poly U/ HKSTP Techathon for her aTTempspace idea and started her technology ventures. In 2018, the startup graduated from HKSTP incubation program and won CSAD Social Innovation Award. In 2019, she joined EasyVR which is another technology startup incubated by HKSTP. EasyVR is a 360 and VR versatile editing and sharing platform which enables her to create both real and virtual spaces and gamify spatial experience.

He has over 60 publications to his name, and extensive public speaking experience. Kemmu Kawai joined Longevity Partners Japan in September 2022 as the Country Director. Based in Tokyo, he oversees all operations and activities in Japan, the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. He brings him more than 16 years of experience in finance where he specialised in real estate and credit investments. Before joining Longevity Partners, he served as a Portfolio Manager at Norinchukin Bank and as Investment Manager at Center Point Development.
