APREA Japan Chapter Charity Golf Tournament

As a post-conference networking event of the APREA Japan Annual Conference to benefit the youth and environment, the APREA Japan Chapter is holding a Charity Golf Tournament at the Brick & Wood Club.

Registration fee: JPY18,400, minimum JPY3,000 participation fee (prize and donation included).

Proceeds of the APREA Japan Chapter Charity Golf Tournament will benefit the following organizations:

Youth Welfare Center

  • Youth Welfare Center is an organization that cares for youth who, for various reasons, are not able to be raised by their families. Currently we have around 100 youth in our care, living in 2 foster homes for those up to 18, and 3 dormitories for older children.
  • The staff guides children so that they are able to make their way as independent members of society. Youth Welfare Center also provides a range of care and support for former residents.

National Land Afforestation Promotion Organization

  • The National Land Afforestation Promotion Organization laid its foundation in January 1950 as the National Greening Promotion Committee, comprised of people from a board range of fields and sectors and intended to promote the national land afforestation campaign as a public movement. It was incorporated in September 1967, and March of 1988 adopted its current name. At the same time, it also set up the National Fund for Forest Greenery and Waters.

APREA’s Commitment to Sustainability in Our Events

APREA is committed to making our events more environmentally responsible. We work closely with our event partners, venues, and suppliers to embed sustainability into the way we plan and execute our gatherings across the region. Our goal is to continually reduce our environmental footprint and promote responsible practices across the real assets industry.

Our key sustainability measures in our events include:

  • Sourcing energy-efficient venues with green certifications or demonstrated sustainable operations.
  • Minimizing single-use plastics, including limiting or eliminating plastic water bottles in favor of refill stations or reusable alternatives.
  • Reducing printed materials and handouts.
  • Using recycled or sustainably sourced paper when printing is necessary.
  • Partnering with vendors and caterers who prioritize sustainable sourcing, local produce, and low-waste food practices.
  • Educating attendees on sustainability efforts at the event and encouraging participation in green practices.

Through these steps, we aim to make every APREA event a reflection of our broader commitment to a more responsible and resilient industry.
