Sigrid is the Chief Executive Officer of Asia Pacific Real Assets Association (APREA). Based in Singapore, she is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, initiatives and operations of the association across Asia Pacific. Under her leadership, APREA repositioned to an industry trade group focusing on real estate and infrastructure.
Sigrid joined APREA’s executive team in January 2019.
Prior to APREA, she served as Managing Director of Asia Pacific Research and Advisory Services of Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) from 2010 through 2018, where she was responsible for research, thought leadership, strategy formulation and client management. Before relocating to Singapore, she was based in Washington, D.C. and led C&W’s U.S. research group in the Mid-Atlantic region, overseeing all aspects of market research activities in the Washington, DC; Virginia; Suburban Maryland, Baltimore; and Philadelphia areas. Prior to joining C&W, Sigrid served as a Senior Economist for the National Association of Realtors (NAR). In that position, she developed NAR’s office, warehouse, retail, multi-family housing, and international research programs.
A recognized expert in global economic, public policy and real estate issues, Sigrid is a frequent speaker at industry events. Her commentary on commercial and residential real estate markets is also regularly featured in a wide array of global publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Bloomberg, New York Times and Reuters. Additionally, she has made several television appearances on financial networks and radio such as CNBC, Bloomberg, CNN, National Public Radio and Channel News Asia.
Sigrid holds a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management and a Master’s degree in Economics from Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of several civic groups including the Rotary Club of Raffles City in Singapore, where she has served in various leadership positions, and serves in the Executive Committee of the Crohn’s & Colitis Society of Singapore.

Prior to joining Bank of America, Martin was Head of Greater China and Southeast Asia Commercial Real Estate and led the Commercial Real Estate Equity and Advisory franchise at Standard Chartered Bank. Before Standard Chartered Bank, Martin was Head of Southeast Asia Real Estate Investment Banking and Corporate Finance at UBS Investment Bank.
Martin is a board member of the Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services (CMFAS) Examinations Board in Singapore. He holds a Master of Philosophy in Finance from Cambridge University. He is a Malaysian Commonwealth Scholar, a Fellow of the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust, and the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore Fellow in Corporate Finance. He was recognized as the Best Investment Banker in Singapore by FinanceAsia in 2023.

Mr Ryuta Takeuchi is responsible for JLL’s Capital Markets platform across Japan and works with the firm’s extended global Capital Markets team to facilitate inbound investment opportunities into Japan’s commercial real estate market and advise domestic capital owners on outbound investment. He joins JLL from Mitsubishi Corporation where he was President and CEO of Diamond Reality Management Incorporated, its global real estate investment arm. For Mitsubishi Corporation, Mr Takeuchi oversaw assets under management of over US$8 billion through private real estate investment trusts (REITs) and private funds in Japan and other global markets in this position from 2021 to 2023. Mr Takeuchi joined Mitsubishi Corporation in 1996 and held a variety of leadership positions including Head of Executive Management and Strategy Planning Office in its Urban Development Group, Managing Director and CEO of MC Asset Management in Europe. He was also Co-CEO of UBS-Mitsubishi Corporation General Partner – UBS- PREMF Limited, a joint venture private funds business with UBS.

Akihiro Asano joined the Development and Construction Division of Mitsubishi Corporation in April 1994, and was seconded to Mitsubishi Corp.-UBS Realty Inc. He transferred to the Real Estate Investment Advisory Department of Kenedix, Inc. in January 2004. He was appointed as an Outside Director of Mitsui & Co., Logistics Partners Ltd., in January 2009.
After serving as Executive Officer, General Manager of Strategic Investment Team 1 at Kenedix, Inc., he became Director and COO, General Manager of Retail REIT Division at Kenedix Real Estate Fund Management, Inc., in September 2014. He was additionally appointed as Executive Director of Kenedix Retail REIT Corporation in October 2014.
Since 2020, he has been transferred to the Finance & Accounting Department of Kenedix, Inc., and in March 2020, he was appointed as Director, Head of Finance & Accounting Department (Responsible for General Administration & Human Resources Department). Mr. Christian Bernasconi is a Founding Partner of B&I Capital AG and is based in Singapore where he acts a group co-CIO and head of the research office. Christian has over 27 years of experience as an Asian and Japanese equities specialist and has been based in Switzerland and Singapore over his career. Prior to co-founding B&I Capital in 2007, Christian was an Executive Director at UBS and established the Japan and Asian Equity Sales platform and was part of the Global Real Estate (RE) Team in Zurich. Before joining UBS in 2000, Christian was with W.I. Carr Far East Limited, Paribas Asia Equity and Yamaichi Securities. He received a Bachelors degree in Political Economy of Industrial Societies at the University of California at Berkeley.
Headquartered in Zurich with a research office in Singapore, B&I Capital AG was founded in 2007 by Christian Bernasconi and Charles Isaac to give qualified investors a means to invest in Asian listed Real Estate, predominantly the nascent Asian REIT market. At that time REITs were an emerging asset class in developed equity markets such as Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong, and a more mature REIT market in Australia. Gerry Chan is the Chief Executive Officer of CapitaLand China Trust Management Limited (CLCTML). Gerry is responsible for leading and driving CLCT's strategy, growth and performance, as well as overseeing its day-to-day operations. With over 20 years of experience spanning investment, divestment, asset management, project development and capital markets, Gerry brings a track record of driving strategic growth and value creation.
Before joining CLCT, Gerry was Managing Director, REIT Investments at CapitaLand Ascott Trust (CLAS). In this capacity, he was responsible for directing investment strategies, managing portfolio assets, and leading asset enhancement initiatives. Notably, in January 2021, he spearheaded the expansion of CLAS's investment mandate to include the student accommodation asset class. By June 2024, he guided CLAS towards longer-stay assets, building a high-quality portfolio of nine student accommodation and 24 rental housing properties, which together grew to comprise approximately 17% of the total portfolio value.
Earlier in his career, Gerry held several leadership positions within the CapitaLand Group. As Vice President of Business Development for CapitaLand Retail, he successfully launched the commercial management business across the Asia-Pacific region, excluding China. During his eight-year tenure in CapitaLand’s Retail Division, he also led the investment functions for CapitaLand Mall Trust and CapitaLand Malaysia Mall Trust. In those roles, he oversaw significant asset enhancement projects, including the redevelopment of Funan mixed-use development, the repositioning of Queensbay Mall, and the relaunch of SingPost Centre.
Gerry holds a Master of Business and a Bachelor of Accountancy (First Class) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst®.

Ronald Tan is the principal responsible for the marketing & business development of attracting Real Estate listings in particular REITs across global markets for Singapore Exchange (SGX) for the last 18 years, where it is now the largest Global REIT hub in Asia. He also leads a team that covers the listing of Infrastructure Business Trusts and Consumer & Services sector, coupled with a regional coverage of Thailand. Previously he also held geographical responsibility for listings from Malaysia, Middle East & Indonesia. He joined SGX in May 2006.
Prior to joining SGX his career included positions with Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) & International Enterprise Singapore (IE Singapore). In SingTel, he was responsible for commercial partnerships in Middle East & South Asia, while he covered international partnerships & international operations (Europe) in IE Singapore. He started his working career as a full time pastor in one of the largest church in Singapore.

Mr. Masayuki Ozaki is the Chief Financial Officer of the Manager of NTT DC REIT.
Mr. Ozaki brings close to two decades of experience in real estate investments, particularly in public equities real estate investments in APAC at firms like APG, Heitman, and Fidelity (FMR), most recently serving as a Principal at Blackstone Japan, overseeing fundraising and investor relations for Japanese investors, from October 2022 to July 2024.
Prior to that, between July 2018 and September 2022, he was the Senior Portfolio Manager at APG Asset Management Asia and was involved in equity research and portfolio management of public real estate securities across Asia Pacific. From July 2017 to July 2018, he was the Vice President and Senior Analyst of Asia Pacific real estate securities at Heitman International Real Estate Securities. He was also an Equity Analyst at Fidelity Management & Research (Japan) from September 2013 to December 2016 and Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers from July 2006 to August 2013, covering the public real estate securities portfolio in Japan, Singapore and Australia.
Mr. Ozaki started his career in the financial services departments of Citibank, N.A., Bank of America, N.A., and Morgan Stanley Japan where he, respectively, developed and managed investment products, provided financial and valuation analysis for merger and acquisition and asset securitisation deals, and provided credit analysis of commercial mortgage-backed security loans and managed counter party risks for Japanese financial institutions.

Kemmu Kawai joined Longevity Partners Japan in September 2022 as the Country Director. Based in Tokyo, he oversees all operations and activities in Japan, the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. He brings him more than 16 years of experience in finance where he specialised in real estate and credit investments. Before joining Longevity Partners, he served as a Portfolio Manager at Norinchukin Bank and as Investment Manager at Center Point Development.
