Sigrid is the Chief Executive Officer of Asia Pacific Real Assets Association (APREA). Based in Singapore, she is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, initiatives and operations of the association across Asia Pacific. Under her leadership, APREA repositioned to an industry trade group focusing on real estate and infrastructure.

Sigrid joined APREA’s executive team in January 2019.

Prior to APREA, she served as Managing Director of Asia Pacific Research and Advisory Services of Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) from 2010 through 2018, where she was responsible for research, thought leadership, strategy formulation and client management.  Before relocating to Singapore, she was based in Washington, D.C. and led C&W’s U.S. research group in the Mid-Atlantic region, overseeing all aspects of market research activities in the Washington, DC; Virginia; Suburban Maryland, Baltimore; and Philadelphia areas. Prior to joining C&W, Sigrid served as a Senior Economist for the National Association of Realtors (NAR). In that position, she developed NAR’s office, warehouse, retail, multi-family housing, and international research programs.

A recognized expert in global economic, public policy and real estate issues, Sigrid is a frequent speaker at industry events.  Her commentary on commercial and residential real estate markets is also regularly featured in a wide array of global publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Bloomberg, New York Times and Reuters. Additionally, she has made several television appearances on financial networks and radio such as CNBC, Bloomberg, CNN, National Public Radio and Channel News Asia.

Sigrid holds a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management and a Master’s degree in Economics from Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of several civic groups including the Rotary Club of Raffles City in Singapore, where she has served in various leadership positions, and serves in the Executive Committee of the Crohn’s & Colitis Society of Singapore.

Mr George HONGCHOY has served as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Link Asset Management Limited since February 2009 and May 2010 respectively. Under his leadership, Link has grown from a domestic player in Hong Kong to a regional leader with a diversified portfolio worth HK$200 billion including retail facilities, car parks and office buildings spanning Hong Kong, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, London and Sydney.

Mr Hongchoy is also the chairman of the Supervisory Committee of The Tracker Fund of Hong Kong, a trustee of the University of Pennsylvania, an adjunct professor of the Department of Real Estate and Construction of The University of Hong Kong and an advisor of Our Hong Kong Foundation Limited.

Mr Hongchoy began his career in New Zealand and has since held various senior management positions in financial consulting, investment banking and real estate investment.

He was named one of Harvard Business Review’s 100 Best-Performing CEOs in the World 2019, the Country Winner of Hong Kong/Macau Region in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2017 China Award, Business Person of the Year by DHL/SCMP Hong Kong Business Awards in 2015, and was also presented with the Director of the Year Award (Listed Companies – Executive Directors) by The Hong Kong Institute of Directors in 2011.

Mr Hongchoy holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Canterbury and an MBA degree from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is a Chartered Accountant, a Senior Fellow and a member of the Corporate Advisory Council of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute, a Fellow member of The Hong Kong Institute of Directors, the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and the Institute of Shopping Centre Management.

Appointed as Director in 2016 and re-designated as Executive Director in February 2019, Mr. Shen has been the co-CEO of our Group since June 2011 and was also a co-founder of e-Shang. He is responsible for overseeing ESR’s overall operations and business development, leading regional growth strategies, and expanding ESR’s asset and fund management platforms. Mr. Shen has over 20 years of industrial real estate experience in the PRC. Prior to co-founding our group, he was previously Senior Vice President at GLP Investment Management (China) Co. Ltd. (formerly Prologis China); and the deputy director in DTZ Debenham Tie Leung International Property Advisers. He graduated from the Shanghai Jiaotong University in the PRC and obtained a bachelor’s degree in technical economics. Mr. Shen also holds an MBA from Donghua University in the PRC.

Tammy has over 23 years' experience in the China real estate market, working in both developers, occupiers and brokerage sides. She has worked in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Shenyang, Chengdu and Xi'an. Tammy started her career in residential and retail brokerage. Then start focusing on Industrial properties since 2006. In 2017, she was responsible for Colliers' West China business, covering Chengdu, Xi'an and Chongqing. In 2019, Tammy was promoted as the Managing Director of China for Colliers, responsible for the full scope of businesses all over China.

Steven A. Wechsler is Nareit's president and chief executive officer. As CEO, Wechsler directs all programs and services for the association. He is also responsible for coordinating federal and state REIT and publicly traded real estate policy development and implementation, and he is one of the industry's principal spokespersons. Prior to joining Nareit, he served as CEO for the National Realty Committee (NRC), now known as The Real Estate Roundtable, and practiced law with Stein, Miller and Brodsky, a law firm specializing in real estate matters. Wechsler is a graduate of the Boston University School of Communications and the Cleveland State University College of Law. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Council for Capital Formation and is also a member of the District of Columbia Bar.

Dominique Moerenhout is the CEO of EPRA (European Public Real Estate Association), the voice of the publicly traded European real estate sector. He has been active in the Pan-European real estate investment management sector for 25 years. Dominique joined EPRA in 2017, moving from BNP Paribas REIM where he held the CEO position for the BeNeLux. After working as a Portfolio Manager in a private bank followed by five years as an investment management consultant for KPMG Consulting, he joined Fortis Private Real Estate from 2004 until 2011 as the COO before becoming the COO of BNP Paribas Real Estate UK in 2011-2014.

Nobuhiro Naitou is an Executive Managing Director at the Association for Real Estate Securitization (ARES), based in Tokyo.

After graduating from the University of Tokyo in 1981, Mr. Naito joined Mitsui Fudosan. After working at various sections, he became a Section Manager in the Real Estate Securitization Department in 2000 and played a major role in the founding of the Nihon Building Fund Investment Corporation. In 2009, he was seconded to ARES, then to Graduate School of Public Policy, the University of Tokyo and served as Project Professor until March 2014. He has been in the current position since May 2015.

Damon Wang is Head of Asia-Pacific, Public Real Estate Securities at Heitman. He helps the global real estate securities team to cover both listed REITs and REOCs in the region, including Japan, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong markets.

Before Heitman, Damon worked for LaSalle Investment Management Securities in Hong Kong for about seven years, covering key Asian markets, including Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore.

He graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and is a holder of CFA and FRM.

Ms. Kong is a Senior Lead Japan Analyst on AEW’s Asia Pacific real estate securities team. Based in Singapore, she focuses on analyzing listed real estate companies and real estate markets in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining AEW, Ms. Kong worked at Aviva Investors Asia in Singapore as a portfolio manager with responsibility for Asian real estate mandates and, previously, as an analyst with key- person responsibility for research on property companies in Japan and Singapore. Prior to Aviva, Ms. Kong served as an equities analyst for Aetos Capital Management in Hong Kong with responsibility for fundamental research on a broad spectrum of Asian real estate companies. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Tokyo and is fluent in Japanese and Mandarin. Ms. Kong also is a CFA charterholder and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.

Mr. Zhu Qingheng (Thomas), has a PhD in Real Estate Finance and 11 years of experience in the securitisation industry. He joined Penghua Fund Management Co. Ltd. in July 2011, undertaking research and analytical roles. He was an assistant researcher in the International Business Department, Investment Manager and currently he is the Fund Manager of the International Business Department. Mr. Zhu became the Fund Manager of Penghua U.S.A Real Estate Securities Investment Fund in September 2014. He has proven to have sufficient experience, knowledge and qualifications in fund management.

Mr. Hubert CHAK ("Mr. CHAK") has extensive experience in real estate and financial industries. He joined Link Asset Management Limited, the manager of Link Real Estate Investment Trust, in June 2010 and was its director of finance when he left in December 2018. He was also one of its responsible officers from September 2010 to August 2018. Prior to that, he was an executive director of CSI Properties Limited from April 2007 to May 2010. He also held various senior management positions at Pacific Century group between October 1999 and February 2007 and was an executive director of Pacific Century Premium Developments Limited from May 2004 to February 2007.

Mr. CHAK holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from University of Wales (currently known as Cardiff University) in the United Kingdom.

Edmund Ho is the Regional Head of Commercial Real Estate, Greater China & North Asia, for Standard Chartered Bank. With a team of 30 plus bankers based in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Seoul, he manages the bank’s Commercial and Investment Banking business targeting highly selected group of property developers and property institutional investors in the regions. Edmund’s business scope comprises loans (corporate and project levels), leverage financing (bridge and acquisition finance), capital markets (bonds and bank syndications), corporate advisory (M&A and private placement), and balance sheet management (transaction banking and financial markets/hedging). Edmund is also responsible for managing the bank’s real estate loan exposure in the regions he covers.

Edmund has over 25 years of corporate banking and investment banking experience. He joined Standard Chartered Bank in June 2009 after heading Citibank’s Real Estate Investment Banking franchise in Asia Pacific as a Managing Director. Prior to Citibank, Edmund was a Greater China investment banker at JP Morgan and Jardine Fleming. Edmund has a BSc degree in Engineering Physics from Queen’s University (Kingston, Ontario) and an MBA from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Edmund is also a chartered holder of CFA.

Jeremy Ong is a partner in Baker McKenzie's Hong Kong office and he leads the REITs practice in Hong Kong. He has over 15 years of experience advising REITs on their formation, acquisitions, disposals, equity/debt capital raising exercises and liability management exercises, and advised on almost all of Hong Kong's largest REIT transactions.

Jeremy has been recognised by Legal 500 as a "Next Generation Partner" in two key areas for REITs (investment funds; real estate) and his practice is also described by Chambers as “a trusted adviser to REITs” which is “often instructed to assist clients with IPOs and capital raisings”.

Chen has overall responsibility for international business group and cross-border investment activities in COS-Capital. Since co-founding COS Capital, he has led the group in deploying nearly USD 400mn equity capital into US real estate, ranging from core-plus to value-add to opportunistic projects. From 2007 to 2013, Mr. Chen was Managing Director & Head of Global Real Estate (GRE) - Greater China at UBS Global Asset Management. He was responsible for managing and developing the GRE business as well as the strategic initiatives in the region. He was a member of the Asia Pacific Management Committee of UBS Global Asset Management. He spearheaded the establishment of the UBS/Gemdale JV. While serving as Co-CEO for the JV, he successfully led the launch of its first China Real Estate Fund and served as the principal manager for the fund. Joining UBS in 2003 as the Global Head of Research & Strategy, Mr. Chen was responsible for developing investment strategies and conducting portfolio analysis, as well as providing economic, capital market and real estate market analysis in both private and public markets. He served on various global, regional and country investment committees and boards. Further back, Mr. Chen was Principal - Investment Strategies Group at Lend Lease Real Estate Investments for three years. Earlier, he held various investment positions at Boston Financial, SSR Realty Advisors and MetLife Realty Group. He sits on the Board of Asia Pacific Real Estate Association and the Advisory Board of the Global Chinese Real Estate Congress. He was a board member of American Real Estate Society from 2004 to 2009 and a member of the Advisory Board of Real Estate Research Institute from 2003 to 2008. And in 2004-2009, he was a member of the Editorial Boards for Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management and Journal of Real Estate Literature. He holds a PhD from MIT, MS from UBC, and a bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University.
