APREA China New Economy Webinar Series

Episode 1 – Industrial Park

From life science and healthcare to high-tech industrial parks and data centres, China is expanding opportunities for growth and development with new economy assets and sectors that focus on innovation and technology.

Given this upward trajectory, the APREA China New Economy Webinar Series explores different growth sectors in the real assets industry that have been fuelling China's economic development.

With traditional asset classes affected by cyclical changes and the COVID-19 pandemic, more investors are looking into high-growth sectors, including warehousing, logistics, high-tech industrial park, life science and healthcare, new energy, data centres, rental housing, and ESG and sustainability-related areas. The development of the pilot program of China infrastructure REITs has also provided strong support and impetus for its new economy sectors.

This Episode focuses on Industrial Park, the event will gather industry leaders and experts to discuss emerging trends, new business models, potential investment opportunities, and more in this area.

Join us and we will share valuable insights and perspectives to help you navigate and thrive in the new economy landscape.

APREA’s Commitment to Sustainability in Our Events

APREA is committed to making our events more environmentally responsible. We work closely with our event partners, venues, and suppliers to embed sustainability into the way we plan and execute our gatherings across the region. Our goal is to continually reduce our environmental footprint and promote responsible practices across the real assets industry.

Our key sustainability measures in our events include:

  • Sourcing energy-efficient venues with green certifications or demonstrated sustainable operations.
  • Minimizing single-use plastics, including limiting or eliminating plastic water bottles in favor of refill stations or reusable alternatives.
  • Reducing printed materials and handouts.
  • Using recycled or sustainably sourced paper when printing is necessary.
  • Partnering with vendors and caterers who prioritize sustainable sourcing, local produce, and low-waste food practices.
  • Educating attendees on sustainability efforts at the event and encouraging participation in green practices.

Through these steps, we aim to make every APREA event a reflection of our broader commitment to a more responsible and resilient industry.
