Sigrid is the Chief Executive Officer of Asia Pacific Real Assets Association (APREA). Based in Singapore, she is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, initiatives and operations of the association across Asia Pacific. Under her leadership, APREA repositioned to an industry trade group focusing on real estate and infrastructure.
Sigrid joined APREA’s executive team in January 2019.
Prior to APREA, she served as Managing Director of Asia Pacific Research and Advisory Services of Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) from 2010 through 2018, where she was responsible for research, thought leadership, strategy formulation and client management. Before relocating to Singapore, she was based in Washington, D.C. and led C&W’s U.S. research group in the Mid-Atlantic region, overseeing all aspects of market research activities in the Washington, DC; Virginia; Suburban Maryland, Baltimore; and Philadelphia areas. Prior to joining C&W, Sigrid served as a Senior Economist for the National Association of Realtors (NAR). In that position, she developed NAR’s office, warehouse, retail, multi-family housing, and international research programs.
A recognized expert in global economic, public policy and real estate issues, Sigrid is a frequent speaker at industry events. Her commentary on commercial and residential real estate markets is also regularly featured in a wide array of global publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Bloomberg, New York Times and Reuters. Additionally, she has made several television appearances on financial networks and radio such as CNBC, Bloomberg, CNN, National Public Radio and Channel News Asia.
Sigrid holds a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management and a Master’s degree in Economics from Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of several civic groups including the Rotary Club of Raffles City in Singapore, where she has served in various leadership positions, and serves in the Executive Committee of the Crohn’s & Colitis Society of Singapore.

Horie is a co-founder of CSR Design Green Investment Advisory, Co., Ltd., which focuses on investment advisory and research on green building and sustainable finance. He also has 22 years' experience in finance – he has worked for IBJ and Merrill Lynch, and also served as Managing Director responsible for structured finance including carbon trading and renewable energy funds at Deutsche Bank. Horie is a graduate of The University of Tokyo's Faculty of Law, and obtained an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
Horie served as a member of global Advisory Group of UNEP FI Property Working Group, and currently, he is a member of global Real Estate Advisory Committee of PRI, as well as serving as a member of Standards Committee of GRESB. He has also participated in many governmental committees on ESG organized by Japanese MLIT and other ministries as a member or chairperson.

He began his career in April 1994 at Tokyu Land Corporation, where he was engaged in planning for detached housing products and custom-built housing businesses. After gaining experience through a secondment to a financial institution, he became involved in real estate investment businesses utilizing SPC.
In May 2005, he joined Diamond Realty Management Inc. (DREAM), where he took on responsibilities for private fund operations specializing in residentials, logistics facilities, data centers, and other asset types. Since July 2014, he has been overseeing all aspects of private REIT operations.
Currently, He serves as Executive Officer, Head of REIT Business Division, and Sustainability Executive Officer. He is responsible for managing the DREAM Private REIT and DREAM Hospitality REIT, while leading company-wide sustainability actions.

Mr.Takahashi is President & CEO of Takara Asset Management since February 2018. He has been working as a real estate appraiser since 1996. In 2002, he joined Shinsei Bank, Ltd. and engaged in investment duties for real estate beneficiary rights through silent partnership investment. In 2004, he joined Takara Leben Co., Ltd., and later transferred to Takara Asset Management Co., Ltd. in order to list a renewable energy fund to the infrastructure fund market that was planned to open at the Tokyo Stock Exchange. In June 2, 2016, he archived to list “Takara Leben Infrastructure Fund, Inc.” as the very first listed fund to the market.

As founder/CEO of Genkai Capital Management (GCM), a real estate investment management firm with AUM of 40B yen, Matsuo established a Japanese fund focused on development projects in India. The fund has just started investing in a multi-family project with 189K sqf. Prior to founding GCM in 2006, he originated and completed the IPO of Fukuoka REIT Corporation (J- REIT), as president of Fukuoka Realty Co., Ltd. He also has 5-year experience in the Global Real Estate Group of Lehman Brothers in Japan, and 12-year experience at Mitsui Fudosan, during which he managed about 100B yen in assets in US.

Rick Santos is the Chairman, CEO and Founder of Santos Knight Frank (an affiliate of Knight Frank, the largest privately owned global real estate consultancy, with more than 500 offices in 60 countries across the globe including a strategically important partnership with Cresa in the United States). Santos Knight Frank was the country’s first fully integrated real estate service provider.
Rick was born in the Philippines (his father is from Zamboanga) and raised in San Marino, California, USA. His education covered UC Berkeley, the London School of Economics and Oxford University. A post graduate thesis on the “Spatial Implications of Information Technology on Office Location Theory” gave him his passion for the real estate sector and, in particular, the global impact of the outsourcing revolution.
Rick established the CBRE business in Manila in 1994 as the country’s first fully integrated real estate service provider. He served as Managing Director of CBRE Hong Kong, was a member of the CBRE Asia & Asia Pacific Board and the Head of Institutional Investment Properties for Asia. He was the link partner to the emerging market countries of India, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.
In 2017, he established a long-term partnership with Knight Frank and rebranded his 1,400- strong organization as “Santos Knight Frank”. The business today consists of 11 specialist teams focusing on: Occupier Services & Commercial Agency; Facilities Management; Property Management; Asset Management; Project Management; Technical Services and Engineering; Residential Sales & Leasing; Investment & Capital Markets; Research & Consultancy; Valuation Services and Group Business Services.
Rick and his team were instrumental in the growth of the Business Processing Outsourcing sector and were pioneers in bringing many of the multinational BPO and offshoring companies to the country.
Santos Knight Frank is responsible for more than 4 million sqm of office space transactions, including the largest office leasing deal in Philippine real estate history (70,000 sqm), and over 20 million sqm of assets under its property and facilities management teams.
Santos Knight Frank has represented Fortune 500 companies and major occupiers including P&G, Accenture, Chevron, American Express, AIG, Citi, Unilever, IBM, Emerson, Standard Chartered, Siemens, Oracle, AT&T, Google, Bank of America, ING, Nokia, and Sony, among others.
He is an advocate of Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) as a way of democratizing real estate, having supported the passing of the REIT law in the Philippines.
He serves and has held roles on numerous corporate and non-profit boards including YPO Philippines (former chapter chair), Philippine Rugby Football Union (past- president), the American Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (board member and 3-term former president), International School Manila, CoreNet Philippines, and the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association, among others.

Ltd. in July 2011, undertaking research and analytical roles. He was an assistant researcher in the International Business Department, Investment Manager and currently he is the Fund Manager of the International Business Department. From 2015 to 2023, he served as the President & CEO of Sumisho Realty Management, a subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation, and expanded its AUM to over ¥700 billion. He diversified the firm's investments in structures such as SOSiLA Logistic REIT(publicly-traded) and SC Realty Private REIT(privately-placed) alongside a broad spectrum of separate accounts.
Earlier, at Sumitomo Corporation, he held pivotal roles and managed a comprehensive real estate portfolio in both Japan and the US, encompassing residential, commercial, and logistics sectors.
From 2024 to April 2025, he served as Director and Head of Strategic Business Division at ES-CON Japan. He is currently with Fortress Investment Group, where he is engaged in J-REIT related operations.
He graduated from Kyoto University in 1983 with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. Also, he is a licensed architect in Japan, an esteemed ARES Certified Master, APREA Board Member/Japan Chapter Chairperson and RICS Japan, MEG Co-chairperson (FRICS).

Kemmu Kawai joined Longevity Partners Japan in September 2022 as the Country Director. Based in Tokyo, he oversees all operations and activities in Japan, the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. He brings him more than 16 years of experience in finance where he specialised in real estate and credit investments. Before joining Longevity Partners, he served as a Portfolio Manager at Norinchukin Bank and as Investment Manager at Center Point Development.
