(MSCI)"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">By April 2021, office-focused listed real estate companies became the worst-performing segment in the MSCI World Core IMI Real Estate Index, on a cumulative basis since January 2020.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Office\u2019s relatively poor recent performance upset the pattern of returns \u2014 across regions and public and private markets \u2014 seen in 2020, when industrial outperformed, retail and hotels lagged and office and residential had middling returns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Private-market data has not shown such a shift in sector-performance rankings but, looking deeper, we can see the performance of office assets has varied by location type and lease structure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><\/p>","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":true},"kh_category":[14],"class_list":["post-1247","knowledge-hub","type-knowledge-hub","status-publish","hentry","kh_category-asset-management-center"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>How Office Real Estate Performed amid COVID?
